The United Academy of the Performing Arts has been a family business for over 74 years and 3 generations. In june of 2014 we celebrated our Sanide's 50th year educating children in the art of Dance. Our philosophy remains the same as it was in our inception; and that is to remain committed to providing you with the highest quality education for all ages and levels in our family environment, where memories are created to last a lifetime.  You and your child will enjoy an encouraging atmosphere to learn and grow.

 

All students are encouraged to participate in classwork as well as any additional events the studio may attend. We strive to create an atmosphere welcoming diversity in order allow students to grow beyond boundaries. Our faculty remains educated and focused on instructing an inclusive art form for girls and boys, beginner through adult.

 

It is important to us that our students enjoy the learning process, while maintaining a challenging and unique experience. The art form in itself is to be respected and disciplined, and our students leave United with a broad understanding and diverse love for all dance forms. The relationship between our faculty and students is one to be admired as we continually welcome back aumni who have gone on to persue a professional performing and teaching career. We pride ourselves on establishing a degree of tradition as we teach generations of families who continue to keep United Academy, Central New York's Premier Dance Academy.
